Greetings!
Welcome to the Cerritos Area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc website! Thank you for visiting our page! We have been providing community service in the area since 1999. We have a chapter membership of over 75 members and continue to grow each year.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., Is a private, non-profit organization founded in 1913 by 22 brave young college women on the campus of Howard University in Washington D.C. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority is an over 100-year-old organization, with over 900 chapters and more than 200,000 members. We are the largest Black women organization in the world. One of only 2 African American women’s organizations that have achieved NGO (Non-Governmental Organization) status by the United Nations. We are a Public Service organization focusing on programs & projects geared towards the African- American community that fall under our five-point programmatic thrusts;

1) Economic Development

3) International Awareness and Involvement

4) Physical & Mental Health Awareness

5) Political Awareness
